Day 2 – We continue up Glen Derry on the Lairig an Laoigh to our first Munro of Beinn a Chaorainn and then onto our second Munro of the day, Beinn Mheadhoin. We then make our way down to Loch Etchachan for our second night’s camp.

Day 3 – And 3 Munros, Derry Cairngorm, Ben MacDui (Britain’s 2nd highest mountain and allegedly the home of The Grey Man of MacDui – Ferlas Mor!!!) and Carn A Mhaim, we then make our way down the steep slopes into the Lairig Ghru and onto Corrour Bothy.

Day 4 – 3 more Munros, Devils Point, Cairn Toul and Angels Peak. We then make our way to a spectacular high camp near the Wells of Dee – the starting point for the River Dee, which eventually makes its way to Aberdeen on the east coast 120 km away.

Day 5 – Our last day on the high tops and one more 4000 ft Munro to climb, Braeriach, with its spectacular array of massive corries. We then head down into the famous valley of the Lairig Ghru again and make our way back to our last overnight stop of the trip near Derry Lodge again.

Day 6 – We make our way back the short distance to our vehicle and drive back to Arbroath to catch your midday train back south where you can rest and relax and think of all that fabulous scenery of the past few days.
